What a fabulous weekend! On Friday evening, I had a HOBA project down in San Jose for about an hour. Afterwards, a whole gaggle of us went to Sonoma Chicken Coop for dinner. Shehrzad met up with us too and we just had such a fun time chatting and hanging out with everyone. I've made some really good friends through HOBA... friends I can see becoming lifelong friends.

Saturday we went up to the city to have dinner with The Gang and my cousin Najeeb Bhai who was in town from Dallas for a conference. We went to this really yummy Italian restaurant near Union Square and really enjoyed ourselves. Zee cracked me up when he started whining that he didn't want to eat his mac n' cheese because it wasn't yellow. So we "colored" it yellow with the crayons he got from the waitress. And then Faiz started trying to eat the crayons. Yum. :) After we dropped Najeeb Bhai back off at his hotel, one of our friends called and said she was in the city hanging out... AT THE FOUR SEASONS! One of our other friends has a family member that has an apartment (if you can call a pad where you actually get lost trying to find a bathroom an "apartment") at the Four Seasons and every other time we've gone up there has been a blast, so how could we say no? So we headed over and hung out there for a couple of hours. This place is just amazing. It's on the 36th floor and there's a great view of the city... you can see Moscone Center, the Metreon, everything for miles. This time, I even discovered a secret door in the "stereo room". So cool.

Sunday we slept in and had a volunteering project at Bread of Life in East Palo Alto. Dr. J was great to work with (still a little scary, but it's just because she expects perfection, haha) and Shehrzad and I are now both signed up to help with her Thankgiving Day meal.

Daily Dose of Lubna: My To Do list is out of control today...
